M. Cato, 89 BC. Denarius (Silver, 17 mm, 3.89 g, 5 h), Rome. Draped bust of Roma to right; behind, ROMA; below, M. Rev. VICTRIX Victory seated right, holding wreath in her right hand and palm frond in her left; below throne, ST. Babelon (Porcia) 6. Crawford 343/1c. RBW 1297. Sydenham 596a. A lovely example with beautiful iridescent toning. Light marks, otherwise, extremely fine.

From an American collection of Roman Republican and Imperatorial coins, acquired from Goldberg in June 2002 (with collector's ticket).
